What to Watch Next if You're a Fucked-up Piece of Shit

It's that time of the year again. I've never really gotten to celebrate Halloween but I like the idea of it. What's not to like about people dressing up, entertaining their morbid fantasies, going out asking for candies, enjoying the chill in the air and trying to summon nasty entities from beyond? Do I believe in ghosts? No. But for the longest time, I did have a question about how when matter can neither be created nor destroyed, what happens to our energy when we go to our graves? These ideas have come and made a home in many who came before me - who shaped their thoughts and created beautiful mystic pieces of art from their fears of the unknown. You may or may not know Guillermo del Toro but I remember him primarily because of the profound effect The Shape of Water and Pan's Labyrinth had upon me Upon further reading, however, I got to know he's been scaring kids for almost 3 decades now.   Watch if you liked: Tenet Directors:  Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead Year of Release: 2019 Running Time: 1 hr 36 mins. Rotten Tomatoes (not that it matters): 80% Violencemeter: Sword wound, snakebite, open fracture, bullet wound, burns, death from falling down an elevator shaft “People like us who believe in physics know that the distinction between past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion .” -Albert Einstein For starters, I’m a Netflix hater. Sex Education. Unbelievable. Stranger Things. One Day at a Time. [ Titles of your sex tape? ] If someone were to say that a series of events is ‘synchron...

It’s about 12 degrees Celcius outside and she felt the same inside – cold and unconcerned. It’s been six days since she’d been enjoying homemade food, zero responsibilities, zero accountability, the unconditional love of her mom pouring out every day in the form of “ What would you like for dinner, hon?” and the comfort of doing nothing. Her five-year-old Labrador pet sleeps on the foot of her queen size bed which her sister shared with her, quite unwillingly. Her mom tells Tish that he usually sleeps with her brother, but for some reason Jo the dog decided to oblige her with sleeping in her bed. But Tish hates it. Her diary entry reads: “No. Don’t aww him. Don’t you dare make that fucking stupid noise. It’s irritating. Only people who cannot afford the liability of having a pet dog can ogle and drool over something like that. Look at it p...
